Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2 Suggestion: Allow builders to have access to McMMo parties. Reason: It's unfair that builders can't use McMMo parties. Don't give me an argument that it'll remove the incentive to rank up to resident because there are MANY other incentives to rank up to resident than just that. -1 sorry, personally I think it gives more reason to rank up. Anyway 15k doesn't take long to earn, so if people don't want to become resident... That is their problem.
How exactly is it unfair? Does that mean it's unfair that town claims are a perk of Tycoon? That it's unfair that you need to be a mayor to effectively own a town? Should we abolish ranks entirely, because the premise of earning things is apparently unfair? If this was a simple thing for an expensive rank I'd be more inclined agree... but this is a cheap rank. Certain players are even offering to pay the entire cost of the rank for new players! The way I see it, this suggestion is mainly targeted at a very small number of players - players who could get the rank if they wanted to and are simply choosing not to. If they're choosing not to get the rank then that's on them really. I guess I wouldn't mind if it were changed but what's the actual benefit of it, other than to a select few?
Well, the benefits would be good if the actual whole mcmmo was used. You could talk in Party Chat if you lived in a Town with others (Being thats the reason we were given when Town Channels were taken away) This would in turn lead to people who want to help users integrate and help builders into ECC, cause ECC is a pretty big, nasty place with lots of people who want to get one over on you The Party TP feature, means you could use the TP to teleport to your party friends (Which is a feature currently disabled for no apparent reason) There is three reasons so far. I do agree that You need Resident Perks over Builder, but personally, the only decent thing that makes the two different anyways is the use of Trade signs, as that is actually apart of the economy and makes a direct impact on economy. People will agrue McMMO does too, but you dont rank up to Resident for this feature, along with setting bounties.... +1/-1
Why should we be limiting McMMo parties to only residents? There's many other incentives to rank up to resident. Heck, whenever a builder asks why he should rank up to resident in global, I rarely ever see someone say McMMo parties as part of the benefits of ranking up to resident. Also whenever I see cool builders I can't invite them to the not4staff party because they end up getting banned before they even rank up to resident
