Minecraft Name: Hiccabup Suggestion: Refund Ecodallors that have been scammed for giftcard purchases Reason: If it doesn't cost anything to credit ecodallars to our accounts and the person scamming has been banned for that activity why not credit the scammed amount back so we can reinvest that amount into giftcards that help fund the server costs. Understandably it would take time to investigate, so there is a time consideration, but the funds eventually help pay real money to the server fund. So really why not refund scammed ecodollars at least in this particular area due to the effect it has on real dollars received on the server end? Any Other Information: The amount of time it takes to earn enough ecodollars to purchase a giftcard from other users and the frustration involved by getting scammed should be considered in your decision as well... -- It is terrible to be scammed, but as andrew says, you are doing this at your own risk. (I've been scammed too.) Another flaw I find in this is that some people would find their way to earn massive Free Ecodollars if this is implemented through Fraud (a cousin on another account, etc) . This would mean there would be a limit to be set on 'refunds' which will also cause frustration in case of big amounts scammed.
Andrew has never supported player to player donations. It's at your own risk, and I'm coming from personal experience here, as I have lost over 300k to donation scammers. Even though it sucks that you lost all that money, you can still make it back and enjoy the server.
