After just having a quick look at this, I'm not convinced sorry. The purpose of the plugin is 'Once two players are "friends", they cannot harm each other or each other's tamed animals.' The party system we have already covers not being able to harm each other. Secondly, the plugin was last updated 17 April 2012, over 2 years ago. What features were you looking for by the way? I personally presumed a friends plugin would implement a friends list when you can see who is online/offline etc but this plugin doesn't seem to provide this feature.
Not sure what plugin it is but I have seen a friends plugin that allows this and I think that this would be a good addition to the sever.
I can't say I agree. Just /seen your friends or create an mcmmo party (doing /party will say who is online, as well as protect you from harm) for them. As Andrew has said before, this isn't facebook
We got the something called "the follow system" and here is how to use it; type in the person(s) name you would like to follow in search. Than we go to their profile page and find the word "follow" Click it then go to forums page scroll down to see if the person who you are following is online.
Well, you can always use /seen. And as Dewsy said, the plugin was updated over a year ago, chances are, it will never be updated again, causing issues and all sorts of nonsense on the server. -1.
More plugins = more server processing = more potential lag Additionally, andrew has stated many times that ECC is only interested in opensource plugins. That plugin is not.
