I don't know if this is possible, but if it is it would be nice to be able to add friends in-game using a command for exampple /add friend [username]. This way you can get a message when a friend comes online or goes offline instead of using /seen comand for every single person, or use /seen friends to show the status of all your friends. As I said before I am not sure if this is possible or is it really hard to pull off as im not familiar with the ways that commands really work. This is just a basic idea I never given it much tought, so if someone has a better idea about it please share it. I will make this a poll too to see how many people want a feature like that. -Silenced Terror
You can /list or an mcmmo party to do this. This suggestion has come up before, and the response is usually along the lines of "We aren't Facebook".
The party is great except not everyone is in the same one And I personally never seem to be in one even tho I never leave them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you really wanted to make this a thing, nobody has taken the time to find a plug in for it. So thats where i wold start
Are you saying I has no friends? D: You do know that when people become friends, they add each other on skype, or they talk on TeamSpeak or whatever. This would actually be a good idea. HOWEVER, here is something you should add to this suggestion. When someone in your friends list speaks, it should have a small tag that says [Friend] or something like that. Other than that, I think that this is a very good idea! Good job! +1
Only problem I found earlier is that this would be a temp fix.. Mojang is planning on it it's just low priority right now You can find info on the minecraft wiki under upcoming features Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes, I know about skype and I use it but just for IRL friends. I don't like giving my skype to semi- random people in minecraft. Im kinda weird like that and I don't like people I don't really know to have my skype or facebook or whatever. Besides the friends list idea is not about comminication but for keeping track of who is online and who is offline atm. I often find myself in situations when I need someone for something but he/she is offline, I forget about it and when i check again later i see that they were online about 5 minutes ago. If there is a way to keep track of people this will not happen.
