It would have to be more expensive than tycoon, EcoLeader, EcoMaster and EcoLegend, or else those ranks will lose their value completely. and to be more expensive than EcoLegend you need to have it cost at least 5m in EcoDollars, which is around $900 I don't see this happening.
...people still bought tycoon+ ranks before town claims were ever introduced, so there would probably still be a good number of people buying it afterward. I think it'd be interesting to see the effects of town claims being purchasable as a tycoon+ feature at 500k each. This may attract more players into buying more, which would be good as it'd remove money for the economy. Saying this needs to be higher than the costs of EcoMaster/EcoLegend is a bit silly, nobody buys Master/Legend for the claim, just the rank.
Keep in mind, there is no more incentive to get Tycoon for the claim, since Town Transfers exist. Maybe allow town claims to change the name of the claimed town?
Town claims still allow the reclaim of an inactive town, you can't do that with a town transfer. Changing the name involves deleting and re-setting the entire region.
