    Minecraft Name: eekelmo

Suggestion: To add something that auto-bans players that come from an 'anonymous proxy'.

Reason: This would stop things such as spam attacks from occuring.

    Any Other Information: N/A

Link To This Plugin: Can't find

Most of the proxies are undetectable.

Can't the server auto-check to see if someone has a 'normal' IP address or not? Forgive me, I'm not experienced with this stuff :3

The practice of proxying is basically just routing your internet through someone else's internet, as everybody uses the same "kind" of IP as you state it. Unless a lot of users come from the same IP; there is no real, practical, way to tell.

Oh, because I've seen on my old MC server I used to run that when someone came from a proxy it said this:
<username> has joined from an anonymous proxy.

That's because a public proxy was used, they deliberately make it detectable, but this doesn't stop the proxies from spammers, or anyone with private proxies.

Then the server had a database of all known private proxies. The only reason an anonymous proxy is "anonymous" is because that a server is separating the IP of the client from the IP of our receiving server; and the IP that connected was a known proxy.

    EDIT: Ninja. :c
