Minecraft Name:12345shane Suggestion: Food with voting Reason: I have seen alot of builders lately who have been dying of hunger. I understand this is a hardcore server but that doesn't mean new players shouldn't be able to enjoy it. I am suggesting we get food, even if it is like 2 pork or 2 apples or something for voting so that new people have food. The equation to this is: New player + food = stay and get a higher rank, New player + no food = less chance of staying and gaining a rank. I never usually vote, so this does not apply to me. I just want new players to enjoy ecocitycraft like I did when I joined back in 2011. Any Other Information: Not really, other than you're welcome new players. Builders can do /kit starter to get food, it was re-added not to long ago. Voting and getting a netherstar per vote is enough, you can also buy food with netherstars in the hospital/food shop at spawn.
I understand that, I was going to edit that to say something like that but my reply to pbrass is that some builders don't know where that is or how to do that, that is why I'm suggesting a SMALL amount of food.
4 pork chop is not enough. When I was a builder and resident I would go through the 30 or so porkchop fairly easily every day. Although now I rarely need food, having fly, I still believe a re-introduction of food through voting is required. This would encourage more users to vote, though one down side is that the food market, which already makes very little money, would make even less money.
This must be added. Most builders that vote, will go to the hospital/food shop and waste their stars there when they could sell their nether stars to get money. You should be rewarded 1 nether star per vote (already implemented) and 6 porkchop per vote. If you think this is excessive on the pork, please say so.
Or.. farm melons, farm wheat, farm carrots, farm potatoes or kill animals in the mining world. I managed to get stacks of pork and I have a couple of stacks of carrots and it'll last me for a long time. (and I only have a 2 floor 10x10 carrot farm)
Kuke I understand you could do that, but if builders don't get food in the first place they may never get to a farm, which is the reason I am making this suggestion.
Well, actually I can't eat until 4 food bars are missing. It's a waste to eat a porkchop with one food bar missing.

You dont have to do that. What you could do is sell your nether starts for around 300 and then buy food from other users with that money.
Yes, but some builders may not realize that. I just don't understand why the sign is there in the first place.
A builder can easily live with the /kit starter, he could chop down trees for wood and apples. He could break a lot of tallgrass for seeds and start a small wheatfarm, he could hunt piggies and cows. (I still find plenty in the MW) There are so many ways of getting food, there's no need for food in voting rewards.
