-1 This would render star tools rather useless. Star tools are roughly worth 650-850k and a $60 donation would only cost around 300-400k. Not to mention that star tools are so useful because of the risk factor involved.
I must agree with @block_crusher -- a major benefit to the star tools is that they can achieve this suggested effect. Without star tools, there isn't much need for voting... before I forget, let me go vote

The reason efficiency is lowered while flying instead of walking is not a penalty. It's simply the way minecraft is coded. The only way to counteract this would be to raise the efficiency of the tools, which we can't do.
