Minecraft Name: Steveshizzle Suggestion: Repeat the name of the player searched in-game following /seen command if result is "player not found". Ex: "player not found" -> "player, <username searched> not found" . This would just have to repeat the name of the player entered in the command, exactly as spelled Reason: This specifically comes in regards of town claims, in which you have to submit evidence of the town owner being inactive, however this can be bypassed by either misspelling or searching for a different user for the sake of getting the "player not found" message so it looks legit. This way, staff can easily distinguish just from the application that the town owner's username was misspelled, rendering the "player not found" message or if there's something fishy going on. I know staff can just hop online and check themselves, but this would remove that which should be an unnecessary middle step. Other Information: Pineapple doesn't go on pizza, I'm not sorry Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: @JamieSinn How feasible is this on the back end?
What planet are you on... That is not what would happen. It's not a hard change, but it's something that might take a tiny bit to do. Though we have a big to do list to do first, I'm not sure this is on it until we do suggestions in several weeks
This is not nearly important enough for us right now. We'll be doing a mass suggestions weekend once we have everything stable and our todolist empty.
Speaking from a GA's perspective: I would never trust such information on a player's application to be absolutely correct. There are simply too many things that can go wrong. Some old names don't appear on /seen if they don't use proper capitalization, the player could have logged in after posting the screenshot... the list goes on. In my opinion the /seen picture is mostly a "The player has been offline for long enough; a GameAdmin has verified the accuracy of this screenshot" piece of evidence.
