Minecraft Name:Themightpk Suggestion: Adding the fine chart to unnecessary comments on ban appeal and complaints. Reason:Rather to have mod give forum complaints that people don't give 2 shts abut rather add a fine every time someone comments. It takes money out of server and makes people think twice about posting anything. Its actually a pretty reasonable idea. I'm struggling to grasp this... So if I make a complaint against "Bob" and "jim" posts a random comment, he should get warned, and have money come out his balance? Also, what if the user has no money? To take money out of someone elses balance because of complaints and appeals doesn't add up IMO.
1.Well first they did break a rule so it seems logical 2.Now for people without any money they get a forum warning. It makes me think twice If I have to spend my hard earn cash to complain on someones ban appeal.
Ok so with applications it is 99.9% sure that they have the money, hence the reason they applied. Lets take a builder, he is just new has no money. How are you supposed to fit this criteria with the builder? And say a Tycoon posts the comment, would he get fined and a forum warning?
Since they are builders and not know much I Guess they will get a strict warning about posting through pm and for tycoon they were already here and they should know better so they get both.
I would say only in extreme situations, like if the user is intentionally trying to flame on a ban appeal or complaint. While I agree that the system we have now needs some work, adding fines should be a last case scenario.
No. Only a GameAdmin or higher could fine someone and I really don't want to spend my time nor force the GA's to spend their time, having to literally be the only ones issuing forum warnings. We have much better things to be doing.
