Minecraft Name: Jackson_G14 Suggestion: Instead of only having one event medal that you can only have once, we should make it so if you win another event or you get an event medal higher. Reason: I don't know about other people who like to participate in events, but I find it pretty sad when you win something and one of the rewards are "you get the event medal" when you already have it, that incentive is gone and you can't earn another. I got the event medal all the way back in April 2014, and "earned" it at least 5 more addition times. But how do people know? They don't. I think if we made the event medal have different tiers, or at least something to show how many times someone has won an event, it would show those users who takes part in events more, which essentially is the entire point of the event medal itself. Any Other Information: Some ideas of how it would work: Bronze Event Medal (1-3 Events won), Silver Event Medal (4-7 Events won), Gold Event Medal (8-10 Events won), Platinum Event Medal (11-14 Events won), Netherstar Event Medal (15+ Events). +1 I think there should be additional event medals added similar to that of the other set medals. However, your medals won per tier is completely to the extreme. I have won one build event to which I was not even awarded a medal and sometimes there is but a few competitions a year. 15 events is way too much. Perhaps the event medal could be changed to three tiers similar to the other medals? 2 wins, 4 wins, 6 wins? Or even 1 win, 2 wins, 3 wins? I don't know honestly. But if someone is able to win 15 events then there are obviously too many event medals being awarded to users.
I personally don't like this idea as the event medal is never the primary prize for anything that I've seen. Sure, you get the event medal for winning, but you also get a nice prize in addition to that. I think that honestly if not getting a medal de-incentivizes you from doing something, then, frankly, we're giving away too many medals.
