Minecraft Name: chanidanny Suggestion: Be able to apply efficiency enchantments to a hoe - so dirt can be hoed at speed. At the moment, you can only hoe at speed 1/2 - any faster and it will skip bits. So it takes a long long time when hoeing a 600X200 farm. As far as I'm aware, only unbreaking enchantments can be applied to hoes. Reason: Can only currently hoe at slower speeds. Would also increase demand for exp. Any Other Information: The plug in below supports the following combinations with the hoe - although I'm unsure how some of them would work! Try hoeing at speed 1 then try hoeing at speed 3+, it won't hoe every piece of dirt, it will just skip blocks of dirt. Meaning you have to go back to speed 1 or 2. I've tried the plugin on a home server and it works really well, you can hoe at speed 10, meaning you get the job done in no time. Just throwing the idea out there.
maybe a new star tool? i mean getting eff7 on a pic is impossible normally. so this could be the same concept?
also i dont think we need a new plugin as dont they use essentials to make star tools? /enchant is essentials im pretty sure. they could simply use essentials to create this.

I agree with this if it means you'll get our farm done quicker Danny I don't have a clue about this plug in mumbo jumbo, but I am always interested in the prospect of better tools.
Interesting... I like the concept, but I don't exactly understand how we would be able to get efficiency onto a hoe, nor do I understand how it will actually be applied and work. If you can answer how those will happen, then there's no reason not to add this .
What I mean is that you can only click so fast that the hoe can reach every block. It's just like planting seeds. If you are going too fast, there's nothing you can do to make the seeds plant faster.
-1 Hoe + Eff/For seems OP to me. Considering MCMMO Herbalism and Green Thumb. This would decrease the price of crops (wheat in particular).
Well with any efficient farm you are only going to need to plow your land once so I can't see it making that much of a difference.
Hm...I tried it with my bukkit singleplayer. Eff5 hoes are exactly as fast as eff0 hoes...even an eff50 hoe wasn't faster.
