Hello. I think there should be a forum metal given if you have had an accepted suggestion before. It could be called Thinker or something. The metal could look like a question mark maybe.
Sounds a tad pointless to me, imo there are enough forum medals already, there's no need for any more. To be honest, it's not too hard to get a suggestion accepted if you give good reasoning, so this isn't really something you need to work too hard for like the collector medals or voting medals for example.
Nah. Not all suggestions are groundbreaking. I’ve seen one be accepted where someone literally said that an extra sentence should be added to a sign in the tutorial.
Oh yes so I deserve this metal for literally just adding a dot point to a thread. I get that you might want to have credit for certain things, but is it really necessary to have a forum medal for getting your suggestion accepted? When people suggest the same thing and they all get accepted, what happens? And do we still award medals for things like this?
In addition to what @MarshmallowDerp said, many suggestions staff/Andrew like right away. It’s just their refusal of a “to-do list” (aka, one project at a time. No mentality of making a note to do it later) that makes someone’s suggestion accepted even if someone else suggested it years ago.
We have a to do list, the problem is when we add menial shit to it. Suggesting things at the right time is just as important as the actual suggestion.
I don’t think something like this should be added but if it is you should have to apply for the medal and it be like 10 accepted suggestions so pointless ones don’t get you the medal. Like for example you shouldn’t get a medal for suggesting the should be a medal.
