Minecraft Name: pstarfun Suggestion: First of all, tell me this.... When Is ECC full?? With the amount of players it holds and the amount of players on at once going down, being able to surpass the limit is pointless. We need another donator perk in exchange for the limit bypass. Such as being able to chat in colors, More food in /kit dsg, or anything else really I guess. Reason: I believe I have stated this above. Other Information: This is where the ECC staff has to get creative of what that new feature will be. Link to this plugin: Well you already have Essentials (<--For sure), and GroupManager (<--I think), so there are no new plugins needed
+1, who even uses bowls or even /kit dsg in survival games when there is a surplus of food in chests? Just my thoughts.
The colors would be confusing and would dimish the worth of /shout. Any other suggestions on what donators could get?
There should just be a donator thing that you get if you donate, like maybe /kit donate and it gives you like 5 diamonds every 24 hours or something, not too economy breaking. Or there could be levels for each medal you have Slimeball: /kit donate1 for 1 diamond every 24 hours Redstone: /kit donate2 for 2 diamonds every 24 hours Iron: /kit donate3 for 5 diamonds every 24 hours And so on. But then andrew should only let you use the one for your rank, so if you had iron you could only do /kit donate3 instead of all 3 of the donate kits. Just an idea.
Well… then theres the argument that donating already comes with perks… like the stuff you donated for.
But it said we could pass the limit. Now it is 1000. We get no special thing. Now all the people who don't donate can come one at the same time and we lag.
I say lower the limit to 300, there are always 250-300 people on, and donators would get an added bonus. As well we would lag less.
Why should lower level donators not get that feature? There is no food market anymore.. it wouldn't be economically traumatizing.
/kit dsg is for Survival Games. and... /kit dsg gives you either 3 or 5 apples, and a few bowls. You can donate $15 and still get the kit. Now if you donate around $400, you should be given some extra perks in survival games. Its not like a MIQ kit that gives you a sharpness sword, it's just some more food that can make your saturation level last longer.
Eh, I remember those days... Sitting there, clicking the refresh button waiting for the limit to go from 300 to 299 and clicking the connect button as fast as possible to get on the server. Not something I want to go back to. But you donators are forgetting something, you still have that perk, every time ECC moves to a new minecraft update, you guys get the first 24hrs of play, while the rest of us moan and groan. In my opinion, it doesn't need changing.
And I believe that it'll happen again, for 1.7. Still, it's 24hrs of bliss without non-donators, ect. You can't imagine what it's like to wait, with an entire day down the drain, for Andrew to let you log on. That's an entire 24hrs of no ECC, while there's 80 people online enjoying it.
We never really lost anything though... I mean the limit is now 1000 players, but if there were that many on, we could still bypass it. Also, a lot of times after larger updates (soon to be 1.7) the server limit is significantly lowered to either 1 player and later on 100 players. I would much rather be able to have donator only times rather than be able to chat in colors or have another kit I have to remember about. TL;DR: I like the current system, it works and there are more ways that it can be applied other than with just normal server time (updates).
I vaguely remember that, it was for a certain reason or something? I recall Andrew said something about it...
Andrew could always make a donator-only day once a month or every 3 weeks or something, that would make me overjoyed and proud of being a donator, but as for right now I feel like it's a useless status with a few perks.
Maybe Donators could do /kit star and receive and extra nStar. I always only seem to get 5 anyways and an extra star wouldn't tip the economy much. It would be useful for those lazy people too who don't even vote. The kit would have a 24 hour cool down and be available to all donators.
Let's do the math, About 150 donators on at peak time right after school, 150 nstars just from kits, Assuming that the nstars are worth $300 that adds $45000 into the economy everyday out of thin air when we don't need it. Doesn't hurt the economy much? Multiply that by 100 days, that's 4.5m. That's alot of money out of thin air just doing /kit star. And also when you vote you actually have to get on the website and vote which alot of people aren't willing to do, so yeah.
