Minecraft Name: lambielove Suggestion: To delete old suggestions. Like the ones that aren't even relevant anymore. Per say, the ones with responses from more that 1 year ago. They are clogging up the suggestions. Reasons: [/bold] [/italics] Because the suggestion forum is just a mess. It should resemble the ban appeal forum, or at the very least not have old threads that are already implemented. [/i] Other Information: N/A Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: I assume you would put it into "Denied" Or make a thread folder for "Out Of Date" If we are passionate about an old thread, then we can just remake it.
No. They’re a good reference for us to look at if we want to suggest something; if something was suggested six times before and never accepted, then we can assume it’s a waste of time to suggest it again.
Why, though? You aren't going to find those threads on the first page(s), so you'll only ever see them when you are actively searching for old threads. Also, @Conorx summarized the reason why I regularly search for old suggestions and post extensive lists of them on new suggestions - if previous threads were denied with a "maybe in the future", it's fine to suggest it again, but if they were locked with "This will never happen" there's no real need to do that.
I personally think there should be a Denied Suggestions Archive - so denied suggestions dont mix with others
I can't agree with this because these old suggestions are not even seen unless you are actively looking back. Not that many players seem to know how to do a search in the section, it still needs to be there for Pi to supply us the 4 to 10 links to previous times it has been suggested and denied.
