IGN: RyanBlocks2 Suggestion: A dedicated tutorial section/area not in the spawn with a few things 1. A clear pathway to follow, and a better ordered one. - I feel as though the tutorial should draw players in when they join and I feel as though the way the tutorial is layed out just isn't good. The current order of the tutorial is as follows. Worlds Mining world Towns Locks Ranks Nether SG PvP Market Trade signs Money By the time I got through Nether on this tutorial I would be supper bored, and just go back to spawn. I would miss one of the most important parts of the tutorial, the money part. 2. A more widespread tutorial. - The tutorial to me seems crammed, a bunch of signs, a bunch of commands to type, all on that tiny part on top of the spawn. 3. A more exiting tutorial. - Lets face it the tutorial is .... boring. As I said above its a bunch of signs, a bunch of commands to typed all crammed together. Its pretty, the layout is great for the area it has, but not interesting. As the first thing players see when they join the server it should better show off the great points of the server, and entice them to stay. Additional Info: This suggestion is pretty rough, Ill be cleaning it up and adding more to it when I get to it.
+1 something needs to be done about it anyway because new players dont use it at all to begin with and those that do sure dont appear to come away knowing much from it.
The tutorial should be done in order of relevance. Start off with money, that's our niche, we ought to let people get a taste right away. Then work through basics of earning it, where to earn it, etc etc.
WAT? Holograms? [EDIT] Oh, just found 'em. Seems interesting, however if I'm not mistaken they've never been used on ECC, could that be an issue?
That is funny, now that I have googled it I realized I have seen these holograms tons of places. In the middle of the night I thinking of like the hologram of tupac holograms not overlaid messages. I thought kuke was being wittily sardonic saying something totally impossible along the lines of saying "oh why dont we put the tutorial on the moon. I am sure that would make the tutorial easier."
Well, I thought you were good fun even when it was my wee hours of the morning self projecting it on to you
