Minecraft Name: emongolab Suggestion: /ci should not be available, to any players, including donators. This command is torturous. I myself have recently cleared my melon sword, and am very upset, as-well as many of the other players who have experienced this. Reason: Its not meant to be a donation feature. Most donation features are supposed to be a plus, and improve gameplay on the server. However this feature, just makes me feel as if I have been cheated out of the money I worked hard for the particular item. Any Other Information: If the command, must, remain. Make it only remove, NON, enchanted items. Link To This Plugin: Not a plugin, its just a simple permission edit. **EDIT**: After ready through the previous post, posted by 3point14mp, I understand if this command is not able to be removed. However, could removing the /ci command and still leaving the /clearinventory be a possibility?
Even after 3point did an amazing suggestion like this (http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...i-shortcut-or-add-confirmation-command.50386/) Andrew still, and probably will forever, refuse to remove /ci. Its part of the hardcore economy and thus we must surrender to its power.
I agree. This has been suggested many times with a lot positive feedback, yet it still remains. I have personally never accidently used /ci but it would be nice knowing I couldn't use it by accident.
I fail to see how a command designed for creative mode/admins, which many people have requested it be removed, is a part of the hardcore economy?
It should be /clearinventory Instead of /ci Who really needs to remove there ENTIRE INVENTORY that much ... And if they do they can bind it to an item. /ci is too risky to leave as a shorthand... should be expanded and the abbreviation should be removed.
Or maybe add a little extra approval command like saying "Are you sure you wish to clear your inventory?" And then type /ci again and to deny just don't type it for 10-15 seconds, like TP requests. I still find the command useful, and yes I have lost some valuables, but I still use it.
I have never used CI in my life, however I have heard of people using it and destroying items they cared about. I have also about people tricking newer users into using the command. It isn't helpful, it is destructive.
I use this once in a while, to clear my inventory from diamonds and other ores JK I think in the year that I have had the command I have used it twice, feel free to remove this as it seems to cause more problems than solutions.
As emongo said, it would be good if they removed /ci, and made it /clearinventory, I know of people who have told someone to do /ci, but the person didn't know what it did, and they ended up clearing out at least 50k worth of stuff, thankfully they did not have a melon sword on them.
