Thread Title: Change current voting rewards to be of similar worth as previous voting rewards. Minecraft Name: subxplorer Suggestion: This past months voting rewards are terrible. We need to change the current rewards to be on par with what the value they previously had. For comparison lets see what each reward is worth in ECD Previous Top Voting prize - $50 Coupon Code = (Sell for $5K per USD) = $250,000 ECD Current Top Voting prize - 5 Event Tokens = (Redeem for 125 Nstars) = $70,000 ECD (based on current market of $560 ECD per nstar) As you can see the previous top voting prize was worth over 3.5 times! the current top voting prize! My recommendation would be to change the prizes to ECD or increase the number of event tokens or change it to some other item(s) of in game value. Reason: If you want to encourage players to vote for the server than voting rewards should be worth while. Other Information: Do not take this suggestion as me complaining. I do make a lot of money being a top voter every month, but I vote faithfully due to the high value of the voting prizes. Obviously I am not the only player who is encouraged to vote by the voting rewards. If you lower the vote rewards value to what it currently is than to me it is not really worth the time and effort to be sure I get as many votes in a month as possible. +1 To bumping up the values. I don't think it should be 17 event tokens however. I prefer the idea of having the ability to choose an equivalent feature. Not a cosmetic; only a /buyfeature. -1 To printing ECD into the economy, if it gets suggested.
General update: I'll look into changing voting rewards soon, and retroactively award winners the difference.

+1 I was thinking about suggesting the same thing. Even if I win 4 months in a row, save up my tokens, and buy an elytra, I can sell that for maybe 600k ingame -- an average of 150k a month. That's still not near the worth of a coupon code. I was honestly very disappointed upon receiving the reward, because event tokens are not something I'll likely use and something I can't sell.
Maybe event tokens should be added as a in game item instead allowing their transfer and sale. I think the previous voting rewards were to high myself. The current ones are fair price for doing nothing more than clicking a few links a day.
+1 Voting is something that the server needs and therefore should be encouraged with prizes of an appropriate value.

I have slacked off on voting as well. I am surprised and disappointed that this has not been addressed. It is not difficult to change voting rewards to in game money or some other such thing and yet nothing has happened. Voting is important to the server and those who vote faithfully (thus promoting the server) should be rewarded appropriately.
+1 sounds common sense. I've been voting less because the hassle to do all the voting for little return.
+1/-1 But this would simply benefit around 20 people cause its kinda the same people month after month who win it. Id like a bi monthly timeout, by the winner of one month cant win it the following month. Giving opportunity to others who also vote alot to be rewarded for their voting. I dont know the difference between 1st and 10th or whatever the prizes are but i doubt its that much each month... ----- This year, there has been 24 different winners for Voting Prizes. There are 10 places each month making 50 winners effective if every time was a different winner. 3 People have placed every single month this year. 3 People have placed 4 of 5 months this year. I would go back further and probably find those 3 who have won every single month have won 10 out of 11 months last year as well (Being December there isnt a topic for voting winners. ----- tl:dr Id like the prizes to be shared out between different people who have voted just as hard over the coming year and make it so people who place in one month cannot place in the next.
I agree with this idea of not being able to win every single month so that everyone that has at least a chance at some reward for voting. Since the raffle being reinstated suggestion (why does it still have that on the link?) was denied, it seems the same players win each and every month. I can understand that for maybe the first 5 slots, but how about the last 5 being a little more fair for those that do support the server with their votes but are not able to vote twice a day?
I agree with Mission that people should be blocked from winning month after month. Harry's previous suggestion about doing a raffle for ecodollars, but maybe we could come up with a different thing to raffle, like how it used to be with blocks.
I'd love to accept this suggestion, however, according to our masters; Mojang, voting can no longer give anything to players as per the EULA. (Funny thing is it's not even in the actual EULA but is part of their demands). More information in my EULA thread here. (Premium Section). We are denying this suggestion due to the fact we literally have no idea where voting will go in the future. Blame Mojang.
