I would like the town eviction rules to change, so you can evict greifers without warning, if you have evidence that there is a Greif. In my town, like many other towns, there was a griefer. For the griefI hired two different investigators , for different griefs which confirmed the greifer. After that, I sent a eviction notice in the mail. That made it even worse. The griefer greifed some more, and Eventually came up the day I was allowed to evict him. Thanks - unitedstates2002
Investigation evidence from regular users isn't accepted, so if you file a greif report, you get staff approval of the grief and then you can evict the user.
Currently you can evict anyone immediately who has been banned for griefing as a result of a Grief Report: However, under the following circumstances, the 3 day eviction criteria need not be met and the user may be removed from the town: A user is inactive (by staff standards, this means at least 7 days offline.) A user who has been banned for griefing in the town. There is a change to this part of the rules in the pipeline. I have drafted it up and am just waiting to have a spare 15mins or so to update the Wiki rules. (There are more changes than just this one). I plan on posting a thread in General Discussion when I do this, hopefully it will be tomorrow if I get some spare time The new rule is intended to be: A user who has been warned by a staff member or banned for griefing in the town as a result of a Grief Report. Basically, the bottom line is that you always need to file a Grief Report and there needs to be some sort of official action taken by a member of staff.
If they are actively griefing your town ingame, get a staff member and they will handle it ingame. Staff, after warning someone verbally ingame, can ban for griefing if the player continues to do so.
