So we can make leather armor worthless? This isn't the way to revive pvp, taking out mcmmo, and getting more hacker watchers, and making it so you cant simply walk out of the arena are the ways in reviving pvp
Leather armour isn't worthless. We get cooked pork chop in /kit starter, and it is in high demand. Anyways, as to people walking out of the arena, we can simply make it so they can't. We could use combat tag
Combat tag has been suggested multiple times before and has been denied. There's no real way to stop loggers/runners.
I think a better way to bring pvp back is making one or two arenas or more pvp world's that are similar to the mining world and fractions.
Several things are wrong with this... First, what do you mean bring back PvP? I remember when you joined in April, you were in PvP almost the whole time for a few days. But, it was never really big. At the time, I was running around Arena 1 and attempting the parkour until someone came around. You haven't been on ECC long enough to experience a busy PvP world/arenas. Secondly, leather armor is nothing compared to a diamond sword with sharpness 5, fire 2/3 (idk which is higher), knock 3, end of sentence. Lastly, if you could get a good /kit PvP like a kit in SG but replenish every hour or so, you wouldn't be risking anything by going in there. Combat kits should remain in SG.
One more thing though, one way to help people from running in arena's is to create a drop, where you can only exit out of certain, confined, areas. This would lead to camping though.
Leather armor never vanishes, its always repaired. Leather armor has some value atm letting everyone get a set will make it become worthless. Btw pork isn't in high demand you're just saying that. Even if it was, you get 4 pork every 24 hours, not alot.
I remember pvp used to be a bunch of people flying around in the air pvpin and a set of prot 4 was worth 100k+ so you would wait hours for people to get back on from combat logging. Also you would always lose your sword to unarmed people and there was like 25+ people always there back in the fie arena days, that was like what? 3 years ago?
