    Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2002

Suggestion: Add this to the ban appeal format:
Do you understand that ban appeals are the lowest priority and bumping them/asking staff to handle them is unacceptable?:

Reason: So less people will break rules/bump their own appeal?

I think appeals that are bumped should be locked and disgarded.

I like this. It would also be great if another clause would say that if you post on the thread without evidence it is an automatic warning. No second warning, you are forum banned for maybe three days.
I believe all of us are sick and tired of posts on especially bans/appeals. As a player with towns and dealings with other players, this is one section that I pretty much have to open to feel comfortable with who I trade with.
    Please stop this madness!

I agree. Staff seem to baby people with the "Any posts after this and it will result in a forum warning" or whatever, I don't really like this. If a user is breaking rules they should be punished imediately.

True - I totally understand a new user or one that posts every 6 months or so. But this is not the case - these are the same players that post over and over again and get the same "any posts after this.... I am pretty sure the felons only see "any blah blah blah......
There are other places in the forums if they want to discuss bans - just please make it stop here in these threads. I can easily ignore any other threads if I wish but feel this section needs to be read in order to not jump to conclusions about another player - think how many complaints we see against someone with no evidence or that get dismissed.

I agree with both of you - I even admit myself that the staffs "Any further posts will result in forum warnings" has helped me evade a lot of forum warnings for posting on complaints/appeals. (yes, I'm admitting what has prevented me from getting more forum warnings lol)

I agree, however it might be more frustrating to some of our newer/younger players who want to appeal. And it might clog up the appeal section too...

    -1

    Add:
Split Appeals into a separate forum, make them private like LWC's so staff can only see them.
Then mods can deal with them accordingly without the trolling and constant stupidity that goes on in the appeals.

What about the people who aren't staff who have relevant information to the appeal? Such as in scamming appeals ect.

And your format can cause problems, as I said:

They don't have anything that needs to be said,
Game Admins deal with Scamming Appeals and find out what was paid through logs and such anyways, and then the Game Admins decide what the timeframe and what money needs to be paid back after collecting that evidence.

So no, people who have been scammed from the person appealing still have no say in the matter like they don't have a say in it now,

I only see scamming complaints being dealt with the way you are talking about. And they will continue to be dealt with the same way.

No offence, they shouldn't get banned, and actually read the rules on the forums wiki before deciding to throw themselves into the server not knowing right from wrong :)
And it wont clog up the Ban Appeal section, cause you wont be able to see it ;)

If they are appealing, shouldn't they have read the rules and known not to bump anyway?

I'd rather have it so that all-non staff/required members are unable to post in the ban appeals. Kind of like how the News posts work, but only that specific people can post on the thread.
If this doesn't work, just increase the punishment for posting irrevelantly in Ban Appeals.

Most players don't know about/read the forums before joining the server. Many different servers have different rules, regarding swearing and such. Some servers even allow things that would be unthinkable in ECC, such as X-Ray being legal or swearing being legal on the most part. So how do they know the rules of this server and such if they haven't been to the wiki or on ECC long enough?
Now, I'll never want ban appeals to be blocked from the public. They're like a background check and a source of information to the regular player base.

They shouldn't be banned in the first place.

If anyone joins a server, it is always the case there is rules in place. Plus, if its a major offense the person is stupid enough to do it in the first place.
