[Suggestion] Ban Appeal/Complaints Forum Staff Policy

Suggestion: Change how forum rule violations are handled within our BA/C section

Any Other Information: So I'll outline a few options here, and what changes I would personally make.

1. Do not verbally warn on the thread.
90% of those posting know better and that post is usually a get-out-of-warning free card.

2. Delete everything not needed. Warn when needed.
Pretty obvious what's needed and what isn't. If you think the person was genuinely trying to be helpful, don't issue an actual forum warning but shoot them a PM explaining that what they were doing isn't allowed in that section (and do it by issuing a forum warning worth 0 points - so there's a record of it). Further violations = points.

3. 90 or 180 day length warning points.
2 free posts a month is easily abused, 5 if people don't care about a 3 day ban. I personally prefer 90 days but up to whoever writes the policy.

4. Add some higher tier punishments for repeat offenders.

5. Handle things in a timely manner.
Pretty hard to post on a locked thread. Obviously this doesn't solve the issue but it can help.

Well, no. The rules in the section don't need to be changed at all as this is all policy that enforces those rules. It would take 30 minutes to an hour on Phys and Andrew's end to mess with the warning system a bit to get points to stick around longer.
