Minecraft Name: andrewlstephan Suggestion: I think we should use Sortal instead of Stargate (or whatever ECC uses) for portals. Reason: There is a TON of lag at spawn and in the portal rooms. Water probably causes some/most of this. With Sortal, signs are used, so there is no need for water that creates lag. Any Other Information: It would also "de-clutter" the portal rooms. Even though the plugin is good and It is maintained regularly, lolmewn himself told me that Sortal can't replace Stargate. He even uses Stargate alongside Sortal, Sortals are more for a personal teleportation system rather than a serverwide teleportation system. And the amount of time and work it would take to replace ALL portals with sortals would be way too much.
andrew is considering (and by considering I mean going to) changing the portals back to portals, as soon as he figures out how.
I use Sortal on my server, but my server is a fresh world, and all I've been doing is messing it up by using commands for WorldEdit that I have no clue what they do I also have an X-ray blocker. Idk what plugin it came with, but if somebody X-rays, all the good stuff looks like stone. I heard that ECC has it, but I'm not going to try and find out, I don't wanna get banned!
andrew is fixing this he is aware and is making the gates so yhou have to push a botton per player to go thru

Ok, I take it back, but I am not sure a sign carries as much thought into the locations unlike the portal. It makes me wanna say "z1 to enterprise, one to the bridge" lol at my troll brain
