I actually find spawn kind of.. colorful and playful. Semi-boring, but all you do there is spawn, teleport, and shop when desperate. :b Seeing the mansion in quartz would be nice, actually... Wool on some texture packs really is nasty and makes the building look blah. :c However I have seen more decent and nice quartz textures. Maybe make the Aether ship out of quartz or iron, too... A ship of wool would burn going up! (I think. >_>)
I love the spawn, its colorfull, easy to find the warps i want to get to, shops! its a different concept spawn, from other servers, but it is amazing
I agree that quartz blocks would be prettier. However, I wish to point out that in order to change that in the mansion he would have to turn off the server and who knows how long it'd be off while he fixes it.
It would be cool, but it would be even cooler if in some parts they used chiseled quartz blocks and they used quartz pillars as well.
Andrew's executive mansion serves no economical purpose so there is no reason to change it because it is only a monument/landmark on ECC where users trade and chat.
I say no. That mansion was built by Burns (Old player) and Anok (Old player & Mod) There building stays there, and it represents them. Time-to-time I go there to remember old memories. I would hate to see it change, even if the most tiny detail.
