Suggestion: Allow people to get towns without ranking up

    Reason:
I've seen many people staying Builder or resident or mayor, because they do not like the looks of the rank above them (E.X: President is ugly). If this is implemented, then Residents & Mayors could buy additional towns WITHOUT ranking up.

To put it short and simple: Add a "Buy an Additional town" option in the Resident+ Section.

    Any Other Information:
    Nope

Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?:
It's all up to the SA team

This is already possible you know... many residents would love to be mayor but don't care for the town. Just pay 80k, they get mayor and you get their town. Life isn't always 1 press of a button. Sometimes you have to interact with new players :p

I am aware of that. I may have worded the thread wrong. I meant become the Original owner of the town, likewise to purchasing Additional towns (President+)

You may (or may not) have noticed that buying a Resident > mayor for their town has its risks, and, if the newly promoted mayor quits the server, then you cannot apply for any new town features.

Sorry if I made my suggestion misleading.

I fail to see why anyone would pay 85k to get their first town but not the rank, when with the same amount they could get both. If you don't care for the rank, it doesn't make any difference for you. And if you care, why would you care against the rank? What's wrong with their look? Just the color in chat?

@Expipiplusone I'll change my wording. I meant to allow Residents & Mayors to buy "additional" towns, as the only way to do that right now is to be President+.

So I'm pretty much suggesting for an option to "Purchase an (Additional) Town" in the Resident+ section, so all Residents and above can get this feature.

But the whole point of the "Mayor" rank is that you get one town, and the whole point of the "President" rank is that you create a nation with more than one town. The names are not casual. It just doesn't make any sense to separate the perks from the ranks.
If you have a problem just with the appearance of the [Mayor] or the [President] tag, why don't you just suggest that you could edit it somehow, instead of making a pointless distinction between the ranks and the perks associated?

If residents decide not to become mayor, that's fine. But you won't get any towns without mayor. That completely gets rid of the point of ranking up.

You guys do have a point, I simply thought having this feature avaliable to Residents & Mayors would be cool. I'll wait for the admins to deny this then, or lock it, whichever comes first.

The system isn't meant for residents to officially own towns or mayors to own two. Look at all the town features, they're Mayor+. Multi-town features are Pres+. Residents can't even add or remove owners to towns.

    Not happening.
