Minecraft Name: AgentHare Suggestion: Making any aether build of the month showcase like thing every month. It would be on the news/announcement page and contain a picture, maybe an interview on what the build is about and other things. Reason: Seeing amazing builds on the home page can be attractive for new users, it could also make people want to build better builds in the aether (no infinite log cabins >.>). Also, this could increase the people wanting to purchase Aether as demand isn't that great. The Aether is about building and seeing other builds and I think information and a little interview about it would be something fun to do for Andrew or another game admin to do. I also find it interesting. Finally, at the end of my blabber, we could keep a record in the wiki of who wins. Could also be a cash prize. Any Other Information: Its just if its something great that catches the eye and I think could be interesting. Picture would be in the slideshow thing in the beginning. Possible responses: "no" Yes. "Why can't you do it" I want it to be in the news/announcement section.
This could easily be done by our users. I am fairly positive there are a few members who would start up something like this. Also, I don't feel like front page ECC is quite necessary. Having an up to date thread in General would more than likely suffice.
But why shouldn't it be on the front page? Any reason? It could be user-made but then again the front page is basically Game Admin/Server Admin only. Not as many will read it if it was in general.
I sort of disagree. I feel if a Staff Member were to host it, it would likely be read a lot. A while back, as a super mod, I posted a Staff Q&A thread. A lot of people told me it would either A: End horribly or B: Be completely ignored. It ended up with hundreds of responses and worked out perfectly fine.
