Minecraft Name: Skylexia Suggestion: Add additional questions for staff applicants who have previously been a part of the staff team; for example (written on a whim so don't take them as final ideas), Why did you leave the staff team? (Maybe add "When" for a time frame reference as well, or alternatively "How long have you been away?") What has changed that has prompted you to reapply? Has your outlook on being on the staff team changed in the time you've been away from it? How and why? Reasons: Make staff who have been demoted for any reason own up to their actions and emphasize why the previous experiences won't be a problem going forward, and/or how they have improved themselves to deserve another shot at staff. Gives staff who have left on their own accord a hard-coded place to explain why they're ready to come back, how things have improved for them, etc. Provides information to current staff and users who may not have been on the server when a former staff member who is reapplying was a staff member, giving everyone extra information in order to make the most informed decision possible regarding staff returning. The most common thing I hear from staff about considering a re-applicant is "Well I wasn't around when they were staff so I don't know how I feel about them." Any Other Information: I'm not sure if this would create a bias since former staff would then be able to provide more information in their application, but the idea is not to create an informational bias; the purpose of this would be to include extra information about the user that staff may want to take into consideration when considering them for the position and staff talk about anyway when considering this specific type of applicant. A lot of staff are aware of ex-staffs' past, however, allowing them to put it into their own words allows them to own up to any mistakes they may have made and lets all staff know of their history and any changes or improvements they've made or have tried to make while off staff.
