Minecraft Names: sockiezrocz and @taylordaisy Suggestion: I think a command that could list all of the tools and their IDs that you have /own'd would be a good addition to the server.. The list could also show whether the tool is broken or not with different colors or something. Example: #12345678 Item Unique ID Red for tools broken. #23456789 Item Unique ID Green for tools that are still usable on the server. Setup like this: Owned Tools: 1. #12345678 Diamond Pickaxe 2. #23456789 Mr. Miner If the item has a unique name, I think that should be next to the item ID so you can keep track of which tool is which. Or if it is unnamed just have the tool type, so "Diamond Pickaxe" or "Iron Pickaxe" etc. Reason: I think this would be a great addition to the commands we already have on the server. It would help players know what has happened to their own'd tools. Players could check on the tools condition when lent out to other members or even to know if their tools are still able to be found if lost or stolen. Also, if a tool gets stolen they do not have to worry about whether or not they have a screenshot of the item ID, because they will be able to access it with this command. It would be a great addition to the /own feature I think . Other Information: I think the command should be /owned or /allown, or something along the lines of that. Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: I do not know if there is a plugin for something like this already existing, but maybe the developers can do something like this?
Very interesting idea. I like the sound of it. Whether it's feasible or not; That's a different story. Jamie would be the person who knows if it's feasible or not.
Anything is possible with time and money when it comes to coding, 99% of the time. Something like this would require building a database to store all the tool ID's and the information about them, and then changing own to actually fill the database and provide the new info. It's likely possible but I don't think /own needs a massive overhaul to provide essentially a small feature.
