I'm confused. Why? They're music channels. They're pretty obviously for music. The 18+ ones are for explicit music. How does this need to be clarified?
+1 I like it since there will be a high susceptibility for Music channel in TS to be the center for R18 musics for the entire Music channel. If this were to be accepted, here are the ff rules to be added: = R-18 musics are not allowed if it is not placed in the R-18 version of the Music channel.
There is no clear rules on what type of music is allowed to be played such as music with racial slurs. Also there are no rules saying you aren't allowed to talk it's just sort of assumed and it couldn't hurt to have a clear clarification of the rules. Also on the topic of talking in music channels, if I were to switch to a music channel with some of my friends so we could listen to music while working would we be allowed to talk if everyone consented? There is nothing to tell me if this is allowed or not. Has this really been an issue though? I frequent often and i rarely see the music channel abused. While in good faith i think this suggestion may actually undermine itself. Most users know through common sense what they can and can not do, and when people do do the wrong thing staff have the power to step in. But by creating stricter and more detailed rules it actually creates more opportunities for users to maliciously bend and hide behind them whilst ruining it for everyone else. Tldr: while the ideas nice, things are fine the way they are
Most of that is all common sense stuff though. No, you can't talk in a music channel. Explicit music (the kind with racial slurs usually falls under this umbrella) needs to go in the explicit channels. If EVERYONE in the channel is okay with it you can talk. You can't ask people to leave your channel barring something like harassment occuring. We don't need rules to explain this.
