Minecraft Name: UnitedState2002 Suggestion: Abolish the nether star server price Reason: The Price is determined by the market already, so we don't need unnecessary meddling with the prices that the market determines. All we're doing by having a price is cheating builders out of their money by having them only get $150 for their stars as opposed to $500 and unnecessarily flooding the economy with money, producing inflation to an extent. Any Other Information: N/A Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: Essentials config price file thingy
+1, As the N-star market is great and will remain so for the foreseeable future a server sell price is no longer needed.
I've talked to many builders who were taught and told by every single staff member they've asked to /sell hand for $. They end up selling their nstars via /sell hand. Not sure the point of them being able to be sold with sell hand.
Also, if you remove the /sell hand price there would be no money added to the economy since netherstars would be purely a user market.
If Andrew were to decide to add another couple of vote sites when the hub is actually a thing, and with the current glut of nStars, we may be thankful soon for a server price of $150.
"current glut of nStars" $450 a star isn't really that low.. anyway, if stars really drop below $150 then I'm sure a server price can be re-instated again. Just like what happened with diamonds.
I don't think nstar price would drop that low. When the 4th site was added there did was a brief drop, but then prices started to steadily rise again. Now it's again a bit of a mess due probably to the recent LWC policy update, but that's a temporary state as well
The prices of nether stars are irrelevant to the suggestion. I want to take away the unnecessary meddling the server is doing to the nether star market - prices don't matter.
Well, prices do matter: should they drop below 150 (but they won't), then, as Admiral said, we would be thankful for being able to sell them to server for 150. After all, as of now, we are happy to sell diamonds to server for 25 (but we wouldn't need it if their market value was, say, 100).
Yeah, but at that point the server is just manipulating the market and kicking up prices - Something we shouldn't do with a perfectly healthy market based on demand and supply. Don't meddle with the nether star markets - they're fine and better on their own.
well i like higher prices - when i sell Nstars to players stores but however the prices should be been like $500 - because those Nstars shouldnt be too cheap - i found one example - $300 was way below but really its needs stop having prices up and downs
While I agree with this suggestion fully, I fail to see how this suggestion will slightly raise the price of nether stars if approved. If any effect it will have the opposite effect of slightly lowering the price of stars as now less will be sold to server and therefore more will be put into the market. But really if approved this suggestion will just get rid of a useless thing that tricks builders.
