Hello. Sorry about no format. Nothing fit in for this suggestion regarding my topic. Anyways, Ill get onto it. Basicly, I was scammed out of 5.6k doing a deal with nether stars. I provided proof aswell, and the user was banned. But the thing that made me frustrated is that Refunds are not handed out. For a better understanding of what i'm saying, feel free to read this: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/complaint-ubern1nja777.45724/ Another scam from the same person is here: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/complaint-ubern1nja777.45726/ I wasn't the only one losing money, but another felon user lost 8k aswell. Now, I just found out that Refunds are not given out , But how could this be fair. I mean , some people buy ecodollars and to get scammed out of that is very disappointing. Not to mention that I myself worked for the money which took 1-2 days. [SUGGESTION]: Refunds be handed out. A system that would be more satisfying is a button that moderators have upon answering Complaints that allows them to tag WeWinAgain or Andrewkm to the post so the money is received that was lost (Only to the fact that Moderators cannot refund money) Then, what Andy and WeWin do is take the money off the Banned Users account and give it back to the rightful and truthful owner. I know this may not be possible. But the point is that scamming is like Stealing. Which is illegal . Therefore the users should be banned and victims should get there refund as requested. Thanks, Mackbmx123
its too much work to correct every scam. If you gave the power to more mods, then you risk someone abusing it. I think things are good as they are. You have to have a balance between micromanaging and mod powers. This might mekae sense if there was a limit, like you had to have been scammed out of a high amount of dollars or items. Sorry, but 5.6k isn't much. Also, if you don't trust them, then make them give you the item first or its no deal.
How does the server know you aren't scamming it? Pretend to have lost a melon sword but have your alt agree to paying it back, then just having the alt banned? Doesn't make sense. Sorry but -1
I will tell you the actual reason they do not do this. Say you paid someone 10k for an axe and they scammed you. You report them, and they could have paid someone else the 10k. You get a 10k refund, and the person that was paid the 10k by the scammer gives you 10k. Tada. You just doubled your 10k.
Thats a good point, but I think I mentioned something about a rollback sorta thing. As if this happens, The doubled 10k gets rollbacked and then the axe buyer gets the 10k rollback. Confusing but I hope you know what I mean.
