[Suggestion] A New XP Collector Forum Medal

Too expensive in my opinion, but I would like it if it was 500 thousand exp orbs, that would be about 700k ish. I like this suggestion though, +1

 

Agreement with OhMrsKittyKat's 500,000 orbs instead of the 1mil. Nice idea!

 

At 1 mil orbs, it would be another one of the "super rare medals." Medals are after all, not supposed to be easy to get, which is why at 1 mil exp it would be harder to get and increase it's rarity for those who choose to get this medal. That being said, I personally would love to have this medal introduced, it would not only create another goal for those of us who strive to get every medal possible, but it would also revitalize the dying exp market.

In all honesty, it is just like the NStar collector medal. All the XP you use for it you don't need to buy, whereas Nstars you do (unless you spend 1 year voting, but that's unlikely.)

With regards to the suggestion it's self, I love it. I won't be aiming for it at the moment, but that's simply because I have debt and other goals to accomplish first. When the time comes, I would love to gather this much exp. I'm sure a select few people will want it immediately, and leave the rest of us in awe of them.

How would the exp be given to the server? I don't believe Andrew can extract it from you account as it is client side I believe so would it have to be placed in a sign?

 

A sign would be most likely. We use chests for the nstar medal, a sign wouldn't be that hard for an exp medal.

 

I love this idea! Even though I'll most likely never obtain it , how exactly will be able to figure out you have 1 million EXP orbs? Will it be in your EXP bar or in a sign? How exactly will it work?

I think 1 million would be a good amount of exp required for this medal. It would take a good bit of exp out of the server, and would be a fun thing to obtain. I'd love to try to get this medal just from mining/fishing.

Essentials gives server owners the option to set a player's exp, so it is possible for him to take it away. In fact one of the biggest exploits I've ever been made aware of is the result of someone messing up the code for that command >.<

I think you misunderstood what I asked . I asked how will whoever is giving the medal (Andrew or Revan I would assume) be able to find out how much EXP a user has?

 

Essentials also gives a permission to check other users exp, last I checked most if not all staff have access to this in the same way they can check balances.

 

I'm currently doing the Mcmmo Medal apps, Lucky Lotto, and Survival Game medal apps. That being said, it would be significantly easier to check the users exp level then the checks required to do the apps I already do .

 

This thing could possibly be a bad thing considering people could use auto-clickers and just sit at a spawner killing mobs for exp. Overall, +0 and -0 as it actually seems like a good idea but may be abused.
