Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2002 Suggestion: So, I've kinda saw that some people had two or more x-ray offenses so I think the 2nd x-ray ban should be not appealable. Reason: Well, frankly a x-rayer has no place in a economy server. They ruin the economy (As they print more money than most people do) for their own gain. By the time after getting unbanned for x-ray they should know the rules and not x-ray anymore. However, there are the few people who never learn, and exploit and x-ray even more for their own personal gain. Those people shouldn't be on the Server as it is in the Administration's and Community's best intrest to get rid of them. This suggestion is not harsh, as before you couldn't even appeal for x-ray. This only affects a very small minority of players who never learn. Any Other Information: N/A Link To This Plugin: @Dewsy92
Why only Xray? If we apply this logic it should be for all automation/hacking/xray/etc bans. Not doing such allows a weird way to get around the concept. Small note: I'm totally for what Dewsy's said on a previous suggestion, give the new XRay/Hacking appeal policy some time before making changes to it. -1 for now.
How so? Hacking is, by my argument, worse. XRay means extra money into the economy. PvP Hacking is the same but also has a detriment to other players.
In order to make money effectively with PvP hacking, (Becuase it's usually in SG) you'll need to buy kits. With X-Ray you dont really need any like that, else then a max fort pick, which can be easily obtained.
Yes, but in my mind affecting other players directly outweighs the fact Xray may introduce more money into the economy.
How about we say that they are equal offenses? Xray is a problem, and it is "cost free" to get, and it inflates the economy, making honest players get a disadvantage. SG hacking directly affects other people with a "cost" (kits) and lowers the chances of honest SGers to actually earn money. I feel we should wait and test out the new Xray policy, but make SG Hacks an equal offense.
Everyone has very strong opinions on this issue and if there is some new rules regarding hacks, it would be great to see them - sorry if I missed them. I have noticed chest and balance wipes being handed out but have seen nothing "official" yet. All I know is that is seems that hacking has been out of hand since the massive return of many players that have scammed or hacked in the past. Hopefully, these new changes will make a difference.
For most of ECC's history, many if not most perma-bans weren't permanent, and were appealable but with major consequences (and long tempbans).
