Minecraft Name: Mrmrhihi1 Suggestion: Add a 10 minute delay between when a server restart is announced, and when it happens. Reason: The server restarting on random occasions without warning has caused many problems, such as SG kits being wasted, and even reports of Eff7's and MSwords being dropped and lost forever. I just feel like this addition would be much safer. Any Other Information: Non necessary. Link To This Plugin: No plug-in.
It would be nice to have a little heads up before some of the restarts. However, for the two suggestions you listed I find that a wasted kit isn't a big issue as all you have to do is wait for it to reset. As for the trading, always trade valuables with a chest to avoid letting them drop to the ground.
While this is true, some people aren't the brightest, and I'm sure they'd like the safety/security of a nice warning. Also, when you don't have any kits that are +, it takes half an hour to renew. When you're someone like me and your main income is sg, that's a long wait.
I'd like to see 10 min delays for normal restarts. However, when it is one of those times where the devs and andrew are trying to test things, such as the new mcmmo features, maybe just a 1 min-30 sec delay.
A warning would be nice when it's manually restarted the 5sec of chat spam isn't enough Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I noticed in the past that even with warnings ahead of time, most people completely forgot (natural attention span and memory of minor things for people is five minutes, last I researched). Although warnings should be given most times, imho, sometimes Andrew is going to be doing a bunch without knowing ahead of time. Other times, it's emergencies, such as fixing exploits. So I am... +0.5?
+1 I agree that planned resets should be announced ahead of time more, but if there is an emergency or testing atleast 30 seconds - 1 minute.
What world do I live in? Don't we already have a Server warning? "Don't start any new SG games, blah blah blah." Obviously there isn't going to be a warning for a crash. Maybe I imagine them. So... +1 to bring my imagination to life!
