I have noticed a frightning amount of mayorless towns. This is bad because not only can the co-owners not add people, they can't apply for things like portals and heal sign. Therefore I am suggesting that the town can be taken over by the co-mayor IF: They are a mayor The owner has been off for a month or more without saying they are going on vacation. Or the owner has said they quit. They were the previous co-mayor They own a plot in the city. There can be a thread where people can apply for this with proof such as the user being off for over a month or two. in a screen. Thanks for reading!
i think if the mayor is gone for more than 2 months a co mayor gets control but if the owner decides to come back he gets full control back over the town .
This would just be another pain to enforce... but I like it only thing is that a mayor can decide to make whoever he/she wants as a mayor of the town to replace them ALSO an inactive co-mayor might end up as mayor
*EXAMPLE* A town has all of it's mayors and co-mayors quit. The town now can't apply for anything do LWC's or become a nation etc. No one can buy the town so now all members have deserted and now the town doesn't have anyone in it and no one can sell plots. Now no one cares if it is griefed because no one lives there. I think the town should be either bought by a mayor+ or turned back into wild.
If no one lives there who cares! xD there would be nobody to grief and andrewkm would remove it the second he found out to make way for others
There are pluses and minuses to this post, while this would be nice to de-clutter the map, it could also cause problems with places like wolvie's galleries because they are priceless artifacts on ECC but they could have been claimed, also his nation of Equestria would have been reclaimed for him to come back and see. so for me this is a NO. While I do want Town Transfers back I do not want this.
No i dont play on ecc much anymore but i dont want my town to be taken over by someone else And I hope andrew does not get rid of towns that the mayor is inactive The only reason i wanted to get 2 towns was to get the president tag
