This would be another thing that would have to be kept up. You would need a way to make sure you get the books back unless you want to be continuously remaking them. The only easy way I can think of doing this is using a plugin built for it.
Perhaps a plugin that allowed written books to be placed inside of locked bookblocks? You right click the bookblock and it opens the book, or maybe in a sign on a bookblock. An extended creations thing perhaps?
