Community. It seems like a simple word, but it means a lot. It’s a place that embraces personalities, pulls together ideas, holds honesty high, and brings smiles... It means home. It means everything. Common-unity. We understand this. We care about this. We are dedicated to this. This is the official announcement of SuburbCity Started by @SuburbSomeone, @Vintage_Gamer, @PlayerX1337, and @ASilverFox, SuburbCity is a community founded for the community. We may have formed from a mess, but as a city, we look to the past for enlightenment, and look to our inhabitants for inspiration. Our purpose is to provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming place for all to enjoy. We want to embrace innovation, trial new challenges, and grow strong friendships in a deeper, immersive, connected, and evolving experience. The dawn is coming. Right now, we are in construction, to complete and iron out roads, prebuilts, businesses, a farm, event areas, and perhaps change our shop system to a mall (that may be later, though). Once we launch, the city will open publicly. We aim for a public opening between June 29th and July 13th. And who knows… maybe we’ll even launch earlier. We’ll keep you posted on the progress. As a city, we have a lot of things in which we wish to accomplish before and after we open our doors. Thus, we have created a to-do list in order for those interested in the town to track as we inch closer and closer to our opening date. Spoiler: To-Do List 1. Build SuburbCity Automatic Transportation (SCAT) 2. Build businesses (and allow others building them to start building) 3. Build prebuilts around Mini Road and Toronto Street 4. Spruce up the town and build shrine to LOLELF123 5. Create tunnel off of tunnel to town farm and mall area 6. Sorry, not giving out anything for sure until a week in advance... even the plan for having a second location of Spicy's, @LSGDoc's restaurant, is not set in stone. Or at least not until he or Dominic pays me 7.7k. With that being said, it's awesome to see someone like you so interested in joining ^-^
Dunno about best friend... but I do plan on making some sort of application system for either ability to build a week prior to opening or having some sort of discount (probs 15%) to people I deem worthy. I would consider you one of those people ^-^
Because it would have been hard to do it in Stone Oak given your activity. Though I would love to help with Stone Oak (and I actually mean it this time, though it may delay SuburbCity's launch).
I'm interested as well in being in on the ground floor. When you have it all made I'd love to build a house here.
I think I will have some plots on the outskirts of the central area of the city, I would love to see you buy one some day :3
