I decided to make a post about allll of the stupid stuff we have done here at ECC! Feel free to post any of you most memorably dumb things that you have done. I'll begin: On my first day (I think) in the mining world, I was running around trying to find a guy to kill. I then proceeded to see some guy named 'd0rc' walking around the edge of the safe zone. This, of course, was before I realize that d0rc was one of the first people on the server. All I saw was some idiot (I thought) who wasn't wearing armor. He then proceeded to punch the crap out of me and loot my splash potions of harming I had painstakenly brewed. :| That was the day i learned to never judge a book by it's cover.
ohai. I saw my name. I tend to try not to attack people who don't attack me, so just keep your distance from me when I'm in there and you'll be good. Although, I must say that I cannot remember this happening off the top of my head... I rarely get splash potions from people anymore, so normally I remember these things. And yes, I am quite an old user, from way back in the day. However, this doesn't effect the gear or anything I have. I tend to be very lazy and still have a balance of like $100 right now... I need to work on that. I have had a few stupid moments myself... Like putting 200k in the lottery when there is two other snipers online that are going to put in 500k... Yeah, that's the day I learned not to play lottery anymore. Sadly, I cannot listen to myself and still play it when I have money anyway.
I have 2. One: I was walking in the mining world with full iron armor. I forgot i had armor on so i attacke sitomo and synwannabe, not realizing i was wearing that armor. I died, many times. Two. Again i was in the minign world with full iron. I was standing with xx3picrebelxx and he left. So iwas standing there with the person we were fighitign who was spawning. He was on the other side of the mining. I forgot i was in mining world so i paused and fixed my ventrilo volume, i canem back to the guy attacking me, i was already dead before i could fight back.
Stupid ha I never do anything stupid. Unless you count falling in lava with a large amount of ores and dying when I had a fire resistance potion in my hand.
Oh gosh I've done so many stupid things. For one, I set my render distance on tiny while I tried to snipe people from a very large tower... Two, I gave a builder a Eff IV pick to mine for me and never got it back... Three, this has to be the best, I went into mining searching for some pvp and forgot I had 50 levels of EXP. Sitomo got 6 levels higher that day
Forgot to lock four chests, logged off, believing everything to be fine, then to my horror, realizing the terrible mistake I had made: most of my inventory was gone... Furthermore, after the initial trouble, out of my frustration, I proceeded to blow my remaining money on a sword, armour, and enchantments, which was ultimately a bad investment, as I quickly lost my gear in PvP. (Curse you MattSirBait). So in little time, I was broke and with little in the way of inventory, though previously wealthy player on ECC, but I guess that's the result of not protecting your chests!
Bought a 90k donation feature from a Builder with no previous donations. He managed to scam four people before he got banned. Then I bought a 60k donation feature from a Resident with a hacked account.
One I went mining, and when I had a lot of stuff on me, I tried to sneak over lava and putting blocks over it but the lava just happened to be in a protected area so the block under me disappeared and I lost all my stuff... Then the nodus hackers came and the server rolled back so the incident never happened
The day that I when into PvP with my diamond armour and sword which I had just bought to look rich thinking that is was going to dominate. I approached what appeared to be a player wearing no armour and unarmed only to find that they have either a fire potion or fire aspect sword. I desperately ran towards to exit as a drop to the ground and die losing my 2.5k armour and sword. I haven't bought diamond armour or done PvP since...
