I used to be an avid streamer of minecraft and have thought about starting up again. Since i spend all my time currently on Ecc I thought it would make sense. I looked through the rules and couldn't dind anything related to it, but out of respect for andrew i would only do it with his permission. I would like to know if anyone else is currently streaming the server or what everyones thoughts are on it. Obviously with the demographic of minors it would be a family oriented enviroment with the same rules that apply to the server. It could be a great way to promote the server and bring more users. I would say go for it and advertise ecc to the max xD Wait for andrew though And i cant wait for someone to shout spam attack right as your streaming xD
There have actually been quite a few people who have live-streamed ECC, And we've even had CaptainSparklez here before. You should feel free to go ahead and do it, because there's never been an issue with it before. Like Rabidworm said, though, i'd advise that you not publicly advertise it, to an extent. Its a nightmare waiting to happen, including spammers, everyone yelling "HI _______________" over and over again, and other things.
Yeah there are always the few that make it a bit difficult. I wouln't want to make things harder for the mods. Since it is an open server im worried about users joining just to troll and I would never want that. It was just a thought i was sitting on. It would be a while anyway since i need to do some work on my pc to ensure it would be in HD. I wouldn't want o stream ecc any other way.

Hmmmm... I think Andrew might need his word in... I think it would be great! I think it would be really cool, like when we have spleef matches and pvp tournaments!
You shouldn't need Andrew's word on it. So long as you don't advertise other servers (i.e., I would avoid showing your server list, if you have much of one) or anything that breaks the rules (inappropriate content, sailor swearing, etc), you should be fine. As others have said, many people have streamed ECC before - some have even stated so and linked to it on this forum with no issues.
