How will you guys be keeping track of who has a private portfolio? I do not think it would be fair for people to keep it private, then when the contest is about to end, switch it to public. Also, are winners of the contest gonna be based on profit, or profit %? Thanks!
I don't quite understand @Exilenela all the percentages are shown in the top porfolio part of stock trader, even if their profile is private
I think the problem is that the requirement for the competition is to have a public portfolio. All of those who don't want others to know their stocks could just have it hidden until the final day. @Exilenela, based on percentage because if that wasn't the case the rich ones would have too much of an advantage.
Quite sure andrew said that the contest is based on percentage or else, rich people would simply throw in all their money
This is allowed though, after talking with andrew. You can have your portfolio private, but must have it public by June 30th to be eligible. At least that is my understanding.
