Username: UnicornBanana49 I checked my stocks and found that Ionis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS) was listed at $0 of value per share. According to the internet, it's shares are actually around $27 per share. Instructions: 1. Buy shares of (ISIS) 2. It is worth $0 I did not recreate it at all as I recently discovered it and do not want to lose any more money Result: (ISIS) was worth $0 per share Expected result: (ISIS) was worth approximately $27 per share I don't know if this is the correct place to post something about the stock market, if it is not, I am happy to move this thread to that location
Good try, but it won't update. What is formerly ISIS is now IONS, as shown here. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/IONS/?p=IONS Ionis changed their ticker symbol, presumably for a corporate reason. The only way that I can think of that would fix this is delete the shares that @UnicornBanana49 has of the old 'ISIS' ticker and reimburse him the amount of EcoDollars equivalent to the closing price today (or whatever business day this would take place). Just another byproduct of the Yahoo! Finance API for simulators... the API does not handles splits, ticker changes, and IPOs well, resulting in things like these happening.
