@Raccooy, I take that back, haha. I realized that it is a cape that mojang gave to everyone today. They'll disappear, however. But, I've seen Phys with a banner on her head(an American flag).

 

So the cape is gone now? Just optifine will appear?

It is not a banner.. it's a scroll cape, it lasted for 1 - 3 days, because the game "Scrolls" released, and they gave everyone Scroll Capes for temporary as an event/celebration.
And besides, a banner would go straight up, not down like a cape.
