A while ago, people used to be able to do the command /stack and it would stack things that were typically un-stackable. The command got removed a long time ago, but there are still items that are stacked that shouldn't be.
While techinically they are just that.. 9 stone pickaxes... some people might pay to have them as a stack. I would sell them if I were you. You have nothing to lose.
