Hi not sure where to post so this seemed the best place. You can buy a spawner in the Nstar shop, can it be placed in your town and will it work. Or are you just buying an ornament. Please I could use a little help as I have only found threads to mining world spawners on here.
It would be rendered useless as it wouldn't be able to spawn mobs. It is worth more as an item, not a placed block.
you can place the spawner in the mainworld but it won't spawn any mobs. best use is as a /hat if you have the stealth donation features.
i'm not willing to place my spawner just to test it out but yes i've been told that you can place the spawner and according to the wiki it would be a pig spawner as that's the default value. it would be pointless though because it would not spawn mobs in the mainworld. i guess you could place it in the miningworld but that would be pretty silly since it would be wiped after a world reset. i don't know if mob spawning is active in the aether. if it's active then you could potentially have an endless supply of pigs. i'm not sure if pigs would spawn the same way zombies and spiders do.
