Sometimes it may happen you need to remove an inactive user from your region, so you try with the command: Code: /region removemember <region_name> <user_name> But then something weird happens. You get the message: Code: Failed to remove members: Unable to resolve the names <user_name> What happened? Well, most of the times what happened is that the user changed their name but, being them inactive, the database didn't get an update. What you need to do is find their current username, or their UUID, and use that instead. How do you get their current username/UUID? Well, simple enough: there's some websites that let you search a username and get their complete name history, as well as their UUID. Just use one of them, and you're done. Now: it might happen that you look into your favourite one, but can't find their history, as happened to me once. Then you might google and try other websites, with the same, negative, result. And, on top of that, the user might have not made a single lwc in their plot, so you feel you have no way to get their UUID. Here comes this thread: In the following spoiler I will keep an updated and as-comprehensive-as-possible list of all the known websites offering this service. Hopefully at least one of them will work, and this will keep limited the number of new "Bug" threads made, as I myself felt forced to do. You are more than welcome to comment providing new ones, I will gladly add them to the list Spoiler: List of websites providing the "resolve UUID/username" service https://it.namemc.com/ http://mcuuid.net/ http://minecraft-techworld.com/uuid-lookup-tool http://minecraft-skin-viewer.com/uuid https://minecraftnames.com/lookup.php (thanks @techy88)
Oh, maybe this thread might go in the Mayor section? But idk, maybe not, as there might be town owners who are not mayors and therefore cannot access that section
