Lately I decided to go through the complaints/appeals section of the forums and I was shocked by the sheer number of high ranking (president+) that had bans. And frankly guys that's really sad. We're supposed to be role models to the newer players and really most of us arent that great. What especially makes me sad is all the people who time after time get banned and always have The same excuse,"I regret what I have done and I have truly had a change of heart" or some crap like that on 3+ appeals. Now that's not to say that All high ranking players have been banned (I myself have never had a Complaint filed against me and I'm proud of that) and I know that some others haven't but I'd like to say to everyone on Ecc There is no reason to break the rules. EVER. They're there for a reason.
Unfortunately, the President+ ranks SEEM to be something that one could admire, except that it only requires money. Character and Integrity can't be bought, only displayed.
Yes I know know and I'm not claiming that there arent some great lower ranking players, it just seems that somone who's spent so much time on the server would be a bit more admirable.
Other than my one ban where I accidently pasted a server IP when cleaning my keyboard, I do not have any complaints aganst me, which I am proud of.
They ain't bad people they are being Rebels. I feel sorry for them for getting banned. Except scamming
I agree im just a poor resident D; I only read the rules like 1 time!!!! But I got banned like 5 so I read rules extra 5 but im not high rank!!!!!'

You dont need to get banned, You actually have to go out your way to try and get banned also. Ive never been warned, kicked, Had a complaint filed against me or been banned from my knowledge. It really isnt that hard. Some people to be fair have come back from lengthy and really bad bans, and are now great people of the community, so I am all for second chances, but yes, there is a lot of history on this wonderful server, even if some of that history isnt for good reading for some
Like mission, I've never been kicked, I've only been warned once (for "not dropping the subject" when a guy was spamming chat that I had hacks) and I've only had one complaint on me that was dismissed. It's not that hard to play nice and follow the rules.
I have a 1 second temp ban from betting a higher up, but other than that, I'm spotless. If a builder can follow the rules, you pres+ can too
I got a 1s tempban once because of a bug. But else, same. *Feels like an outcast in the higher ups with no warns, no bans, no real tempbans and no kicks* But seriously, mission is right. Up to this day I have yet to understand why some people manage to get banned so easily, it's so simple not to. :|
I got temp banned for "k" once but other than that I have a clean record if you subtract 3 bans. All mistakes can be learned from. I personally take appealing as a good thing sometimes. You get to learn from your mistakes and become a better person from them.
