Long story short I guess I've been offline long enough that someone else claimed my town. Is there anyway for me to get it back? Or have I lost everything I've worked for? I really don't care for my items or in game money but i really cared for my land and the things I've built on it.
If someone's claimed over your town, there's nothing you can do about it. The best thing for you to do is gather all of your belongings (if any) and start over.
Actually, it depends on how the town is claimed. If it was thru the Tycoon+ official town claim system there is nothing you can do and he had every right to do so since that is what the town claim system was created for - to take unused, forgotten towns and make something of them again. If he just bought it from someone else, you have the right to appeal and possibly get your town back (though I do not think this happens often). It seems your safest course of action is to earn President rank and get your own town to start over with that you own (of course you will need to stay active) Wishing you success!
@Silent__Saint - unfortunately for you, your town was claimed thru the Tycoon+ claim system. @blackbelt4eva has no obligation to return or sell this town back to you. I personally have decided to not sell my claimed towns since they are so rare to get - we only have a maximum of 4 opportunities to do this and I have spent a huge amount of time searching for quality towns worth using my claim for. I am sorry you were inactive for so long, however, it will not take you long to get started back again to where you can earn your President rank and receive a new town. Just make sure not to go inactive again or you will risk loosing that town as well. Wishing you success!
Unfortunately I built that town with an intention in mind. I cannot start over without it. It would take too long to rebuild and that was the point. Now I know I may not have played on server in 6 months but I'm sure I was on the site. but do i have to post in forum in that time frame or just log in? This is just me rambling at this point but i assume checking the site for updates without logging in doesn't count as being active. I remember waiting for the lobby to get changed and then for the mining world update to new minecraft.
I really feel your best course of action is to consult with a staff member to answer how and when your town was claimed and under what circumstances since they are by far the most qualified to explain to you how your town was claimed. I do believe that you either have to log in to the server or be seen on the forums as recent as 6 months in order to be considered active.
If you need a town i have a spot for you. It really sucks what happened and I would be glad to help if you don't have a home atm ^~^ u know for you to gather your affairs together.
So I talked to blackbelt4eva about it and he said the only way I can get it back is if either I get him 500k (cuz that's what it cost to buy tycoon) or if I can find a mod willing to help me and him out by either, revoking his tycoon status (if that's how it works) and giving him his 500k back or letting him chose another town to claim as his own and I reclaim ownership over my town. That's the only way he will do it. Now to even begin farming or something to make 500k id need that land, so thats not an option, and I don't have $500 real cash to buy me 500k in game (honestly even if I did its not worth it then). So I'm asking you guys if you know someone who can help me or a part of the forum I should go to. Basically whats my next step here without getting in trouble.
@Silent__Saint - while understandably painful for you - @blackbelt4eva offer seems more than fair considering the circumstances. There is usually a lot of research and effort made in claiming a town from an inactive owner and yet he is willing to give up the time spent claiming the town you abandoned. The part of the forum you need to go to is a pm with one of the Game Admins would be my suggestion, though, I feel that this revoking of his tycoon status probably can't be done. In the time you have had since you started this thread, with voting every day and earning money at a farm - perms can be bought for 3k-about 11k and you will easily earn your money back in an hour or two - you could have simply worked a little and earned your president rank and received your president town. Also, your math is incorrect - it would take less than $100 in real cash to earn the $500k ECD which I agree is not even worth it since President would be so much easier to achieve. While I agree with you, (just buying the cash would actually be $300, thats what i ment, my mistake) I have a job it takes the life out of me by the end of the day during the week and there is no way I can be creative then, I have friends outside of gaming and a girlfriend. I do not have the time to be on every single day like I use to (trust me i wish i could g back to thoes days). There are other reasons as well but I also know these are mostly no excuses. but with that said, he seems to want to help me out as long as i can help him out. Can a mod maybe offer him another town to claim possibly? I assume i would have to ask to see if that's possible. (well it is possible, lets be honest but will they do it is the question). Thanks for the reply and i hope i can get it back too. I just feel this shouldn't have been a thing in the first place.
