skyblock spawners destroyed even when using silk touch

Spawners cannot be picked up on Ecc, if they are placed, then that's where they are. Even if you have silk touch.

 

The screenshot is from Skyblock, you can pickup spawners if you have the Elite+ rank, he has Skygod so it should work.

To comment on the original post. this does seem to be a long standing issue with Skyblock, I've seen multiple people complain about it, for now we will wait and let a server admin look into this.

It’s been a known bug since the first season. Doesn’t seem to happen to everyone and only early after the resets.. after month 2 it doesn’t happen anymore.. I lose 1-2 every season.

The best advice is to try and place your spawners on a very limited based and not move them around a lot. Also make sure you are in a secure location with multiple levels of ground. It seems like they fall but either disappear or glitch out.. I have found that if I log sometimes they appear in my inv.

I have spoken to other players who claim it hasn’t happened to them to see what they are doing and from what I can tell it’s nothing different. Some players are just unlucky it appears..

 

Also, to assist the SA team, could you post the approx coords of where the spawner was broken

 

This may or may not help, but sometimes, they don't drop right away for some reason. I'm also a SkyGod, and when I mined one of my Elder spawners, it didn't drop anything right away; in fact, I never saw it drop anything period. I did get it back eventually thanks to a hopper, but from breakage to reclaiming it from the chest the hopper was connected to, I never saw the item. Not sure if it was invisible or what happened.

Again, not sure if it is pertinent to this, but it might be.

 

Honestly, my best advice is to place spawners where you are certain you will keep them.
I've tried everything I can think of to reproduce this and am unable to.
If you find reproduction steps that work each time, please let us know, it would highly assist us.

 

That is not what I'm saying at all.

What I'm saying is we need a way to reproduce this issue to track it down, as it's more often than not user error. If we can reproduce it we can absolutely return your spawner for you, but if we generate spawners for people every time they report a loss to us with no way for us to verify the bug, then we'll be handing out free spawners left and right.

Please try to reproduce this problem, perhaps on video, this way we can see exactly what's going on.
And of course once we figure out what went wrong, we can return the spawners.
We need more information than what you've provided.

 

I have also now gone to the exact co-ordinates you provided.

Logging evidence only shows spawner creation in the location of the two currently placed spawners.
I've even broken your current spawners in the location shown and watched them properly get transferred through the hoppers below into the chests.

You are getting defensive for absolutely no reason, when users here are genuinely trying to help, and I personally am trying to reproduce the issue you have stated.

 

I see this is getting nowhere and you continue to push a completely false narrative when we are all trying to help you trace down the issue.

No one is saying you are lying. We are simply trying to understand the issue to prevent it happening in the future.

All you've provided is a screenshot of you complaining. This support ticket clearly isn't going anywhere, if you have further information you're welcome to contact the CO team via forum PM.

There is no need to continue such negativity in public.

Saying donations and purchases aren't appreciated simply because we won't throw free spawners at you without asking for more information is absolutely absurd. We treat all players exactly the same, and it clearly seems like you feel entitled to instant special treatment.
