I think this is a good idea as the combined channels can get a bit confusing when there is conversations among skyblock only players. Maybe have a localized channel like there is in mining?
I like this idea but the one problem I would see with this is that what would happen with the people who want to be able to see both server chats. For example if staff are on but can only see Main channel and a user comes on and starts causing riot in the SkyBlock channel then they won't notice what is happening. If this happens, I'd prefer Main and SkyBlock to be like any other channel where you can join and leave which would allow staff to view both channels and some users can select which channels they see. +1
Eh, -1. Most of the time, people can tell if a trade comes from Skyblock or main, plus for global chat, most of the time it is not an isssue. My -1 however comes from the fact that it is not needed. With /msg and local chat, that should be good enough. The reason vmr has their own server chat is because vmr is a different animal compared to Skyblock and main. /ch vmr is like the local chat because many people do not want other players near their bases since there is no worldguard.
