I don't see a use for these especially not in skyblock. Just have a hole in the floor to throw stuff down, which is just as easy and practical as using a dispose sign.
+100 I actually just came here to suggest this. Its much easier and faster than tossing things into a hole, plus if I'm not mistaken, items on the ground don't despawn here so eventually you'd get a fair big of lag going on. If I'm grinding say a skeleton spawner, I'm gonna have bows stacking up really fast with a loot 3, and I don't want to be throwing them into a hole where they won't despawn, and I don't want to have open pits of lava around the floor of my island. I think a disposal sign on skyblock would be a great idea.
I'm pretty sure that ECC is not overwriting vanilla item despawn mechanics; you may be referring to the butcher, which intentionally wipes entities in regular intervals (and isn't active on SkyBlock).
It was just something I thought I'd heard Jamie mention in game the other day, that items don't despawn is all. So a giant hole wouldn't be a good idea.
i can confirm that items indeed despawn as intended by vanilla minecraft. otherwise my island would be swamped in bows already xD
Ci clears 100% inventory where as a disposal sign if you had a tool in your inventory would allow you to select only what you wish to get rid of
Well then I +1 this suggestion as there is a difference between disposal signs and /ci, as long as you have the rank <rank here> ?
